The Founder
Jean M. Marcellus Jr. — DJ Moonie
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York — "Flatbush, that's what's up." Now a Florida resident and a member of Poison Dart Sound, DJ Moonie first started playing sound in 1990 with DJ Crossfire of Unity Sounds in Tampa, alongside Kirky C Muzik Station, and became good friends with Kirky C of Poison Dart Sound.
It all began at the Labor Temple club in Tampa, where sounds from all over the world came to make history. In 1996 he branched off and formed Stereo Tech Sound with Farther Mingus — the number one killing and juggling local sound in Brooklyn — playing alongside Stereo Sonic, LP Intl, Stone Love, Afrique, Bodyguard, Addies, Mega Tone, Black Talon, Stereo Vibes, Earth Ruler and more.
Through the years he became one of the top upcoming producers and remix masters in entertainment, joining one of the world's biggest sound crews — Poison Dart Sound, with Kirky-C, Madd Rass, Shotta Hype, Chris Rock, DJ Juice and Baby-G — and started his own company, In 2 Deep Productions. Versatile, and above all, original.
